The Light Strips & Consumes

Please keep me in prayer as I have a procedure being done in the next 48 hours.
Man must be purified in order to be
inhabited perfectly by the Divine Light.
Much like a child awakens in the morning to the turning on the Light of
His Mother so do we Christians pass through this process. At first, the Light goes on only for a few
minutes and the child squints in pain and tries to get accustomed to the Light
but seemingly cannot and turns away. The
next day the same process but only this time the Light stays on just a few
minutes longer and the child gets more accustomed to this Light with each pass. The child does not go to bed each night
fearing the Light will come on in the morning and thus why should we
Christians. The ultimate goal is to have
the “eyes” of the soul wholly stripped and consumed by the Light so that the
Light may stay on at all times without any squinting or pain/suffering. For when in union a soul does not know if it
is suffering because it has become One with Love.
We must obey. As the soul gets more accustomed to the Light
there is a higher degree of communication with God. There also is a higher degree of peace with
each passing of Love’s suffering intervals.
It will, at first, hear His Voice, from time to time then more readily
as the soul advances. In union there is
constant dialogue with the Beloved. God
must purify in degrees because if He were to reveal Himself to the soul all at
once assuredly the man would die to do the glory of God. It is special work which only the Divine can
do. We cannot choose these special
crosses and trials but we must obey and trust.
No longer does God seem to communicate to the soul from without but as
the soul advances it becomes quite certain that it is God leading it on this
path of pain.
The Light first strips
then consumes this is works as I mentioned in degrees until it is utterly
absorbed in God and can retain God without any pain. As it gains more of God it loses less of
itself. It has vices and impurities
uprooted and virtues planted. But what
Farmer does not toil out in the field first before it collects the
Harvest? Resurrection does not come
before the Cross just as the darkness did not come before the Light. Love’s Mountain is dark at the bottom but as
a soul ascends it gets closer to the Light up above and thus the pain more
acute. The majority will turn back down
the Mountain after feeling the slightest bit of pain but only a few make it to
the top in this life. Nay, at a certain
point the soul reaches the point where it sees the Hand that painfully caresses
it is the gentle Hand of God which is trying to smooth out the soul which is
rough in His Presence. This life is
nothing but the Light going on and off in the morning and how so few will ever arise
and make it out of bed.
